Job Description
This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Finance Director in the United States.
This role sits at the core of strategic finance, responsible for shaping and maintaining the financial foundation that supports long-term growth and mission-driven expansion. Acting as a key partner to senior leadership, the Finance Director will translate complex business initiatives into structured financial models, forecasts, and actionable insights. The position combines strategic thinking with hands-on modeling, requiring the ability to build robust frameworks from scratch in a fast-moving environment. You will work across clinical, revenue, and operational teams to evaluate new business models, payer partnerships, and funding streams. This is a high-impact opportunity for a finance leader who thrives in ambiguity and enjoys turning ideas into scalable financial structures. The role directly influences executive decision-making, investor communications, and enterprise-wide planning. It is ideal for someone who excels in early-stage environments where agility and precision are both essential.
- Lead enterprise-wide financial planning, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-range strategic modeling
- Design, build, and maintain advanced financial models to evaluate new initiatives, scenarios, and growth opportunities
- Own the annual budgeting process and ensure alignment with strategic priorities and rolling forecasts
- Partner with Revenue Operations and Controller teams to align revenue insights and budget-to-actual reporting
- Support analysis of value-based care programs, clinical initiatives, grant funding, and life sciences-related revenue streams
- Develop financial insights, dashboards, and executive-level materials for leadership, board, and investor reporting
- Evaluate and improve financial systems, tools, and FP&A processes to support scalability and efficiency
- Drive data-driven decision-making by translating operational metrics into financial strategy
Requirements:
- 7–8+ years of progressive finance experience in FP&A, corporate finance, private equity, digital health, or startup environments
- Strong expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and scenario planning in complex business environments
- Advanced Excel or Google Sheets modeling skills with the ability to build structured models from ambiguous data
- Experience working with multi-stream revenue models, ideally including healthcare or value-based care systems
- Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, high-ambiguity environments with strong problem-solving agility
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate financial insights into executive-level recommendations
- Experience partnering cross-functionally with operations, revenue, and clinical or technical teams
- Familiarity with financial systems such as QuickBooks and exposure to FP&A or ERP tools is a plus
Benefits:
- Competitive salary with full benefits package
- Medical, dental, and vision insurance for employees and dependents
- 401(k) retirement plan
- Life insurance and disability coverage
- Remote-first work environment
- Remote work stipend
- Opportunity for professional growth and development
- Occasional travel to headquarters for collaboration sessions
