Dishwasher/ Kitchen Steward in Monroe, Louisiana at Bayou Desiard CC

```Duties```

- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans using dishwashers or by hand

- Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, or utensils in a clean and orderly manner

- Place clean dishes, utensils, or cooking equipment in storage areas

- Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas

- Sweep or scrub floors

```Qualifications```

-Need to be able to work AM and PM shifts

-Need to be able to lift 50+ lbs

- Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required

- Ability to handle food safely and follow proper sanitation procedures

- Knowledge of basic kitchen equipment and utensils

- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

- Ability to work faced pace and as part of a team
