CNC Operator / Machinist in Bedford, Indiana at AALBERTS HYDRONIC FLOW CONTROL, INC

Geo-Flo Corporation, an Aalberts company, is seeking a skilled CNC Operator/Machinist to join our manufacturing team in Bedford, Indiana. This position is responsible for operating and setting up CNC equipment to produce high-quality components while maintaining safety, quality, and productivity standards.

The ideal candidate will have experience reading blueprints, performing inspections, troubleshooting machining issues, and supporting continuous improvement efforts in a clean, climate-controlled manufacturing environment.

• Operate CNC lathes, mills, routers, and related equipment
• Perform machine setups, tooling changes, and offset adjustments
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
• Conduct first-piece and in-process inspections using measuring equipment
• Monitor product quality and make adjustments as needed
• Troubleshoot machining and tooling issues
• Maintain accurate production and inspection records
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work area
• Support continuous improvement and process optimization initiatives
• Assist with preventive maintenance activities on CNC equipment

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous CNC machining experience required
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and tolerances
• Experience using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

• Experience with HAAS CNC equipment
• Experience performing complete machine setups
• Understanding of G-code and CNC programming
• Experience with first article inspections
• Manufacturing experience in a low-volume, high-mix environment
