Job Description

Senior Product Engineer

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Product Engineer in France.

In this role, you will help shape the future of virtual healthcare by building intuitive, accessible, and clinically safe digital experiences used by patients and clinicians across multiple regions. You will operate at the intersection of product, design, and engineering, translating complex healthcare workflows into simple, effective user journeys. Working in a mission-driven environment, you will contribute directly to improving remote patient monitoring and virtual care systems used at scale across Europe. You will take ownership of both design and implementation, ensuring what ships is not only technically robust but also user-centric and inclusive. This is a highly collaborative role where engineering judgment, UX thinking, and product intuition are equally important. You will also leverage modern AI tooling to accelerate delivery while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.

Accountabilities

In this role, you will take ownership of designing and building end-to-end user experiences for a healthcare platform that supports patients and clinicians in remote care settings. You will work across product discovery and delivery, ensuring that solutions are both technically sound and deeply user-focused.

  • Design and develop high-quality front-end applications using React and TypeScript, ensuring performance, scalability, and maintainability
  • Translate complex clinical and operational requirements into intuitive, accessible user experiences across web and mobile interfaces
  • Contribute to product discovery by creating prototypes, testing concepts, and iterating based on user feedback and usability studies
  • Take ownership of UX quality in production, bridging the gap between design intent and shipped product
  • Collaborate closely with clinicians, product managers, and engineers to define and refine feature requirements
  • Ensure product safety, compliance, and usability in a regulated healthcare environment
  • Leverage AI tools to improve development workflows, prototyping speed, and iterative product delivery
Requirements

You bring strong experience as a product-focused engineer with the ability to combine software development, UX design, and product thinking. You are comfortable working in complex, user-critical environments and enjoy solving real-world problems with elegant solutions.

  • Strong professional experience in front-end engineering using React, React Native, TypeScript, and modern CSS
  • Solid UX and product design skills, with the ability to create and evaluate user journeys and interaction flows
  • Proven experience delivering shipped products with a clear portfolio demonstrating impact and problem-solving approach
  • Ability to conduct usability testing and translate insights into actionable product improvements
  • Familiarity with designing for accessibility and diverse user groups, including older or less digitally experienced users
  • Experience in regulated environments such as healthtech, fintech, or govtech is highly desirable
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work across product, engineering, and clinical stakeholders
  • Comfortable using AI tools to enhance productivity and accelerate development workflows
Benefits
  • Competitive compensation package including salary and stock options
  • 25 days of annual leave plus public holidays, with flexibility to buy or sell additional days
  • Remote-first working model with optional office access and flexible arrangements across Europe
  • Private health insurance and comprehensive wellness support
  • Pension contributions and life insurance coverage
  • Learning and development budget to support professional growth
  • Remote working stipend and equipment support
  • Employee stock options and performance-based review cycles
  • Additional wellbeing perks including mental health support, fitness resources, and 24/7 GP access
