Job Description

Scrum Master

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Scrum Master based in Switzerland.

Join a technology-driven environment where you'll help multiple Agile teams improve collaboration, delivery, and continuous improvement practices. In this role, you'll support 3–5 cross-functional Scrum and Kanban teams, helping them become more autonomous, efficient, and aligned with business goals. You'll facilitate Agile ceremonies, coach teams and stakeholders, and use data-driven insights to improve delivery flow, quality, and team health. Working closely with Product Owners, technical leaders, and Agile practitioners, you'll help shape modern development processes and scale Agile practices across the organization. This is an opportunity for an experienced Scrum Master who enjoys creating meaningful change, building trust, and enabling teams to reach their full potential in a remote-first environment.

Accountabilities
  • Support and coach multiple Scrum and Kanban teams with different levels of Agile maturity, helping them improve effectiveness, collaboration, and self-organization.
  • Facilitate Scrum events, Kanban cadences, retrospectives, workshops, strategic sessions, and cross-team discussions with stakeholders.
  • Coach Product Owners, Team Leads, and team members in Agile principles, continuous improvement practices, and effective delivery approaches.
  • Mentor other Scrum Masters and contribute to the development of Agile practices within the wider organization.
  • Monitor and analyze Delivery, Flow, Quality, and Team Health metrics, creating dashboards and sharing insights to support improvement initiatives and decision-making.
  • Identify, escalate, and help remove organizational impediments that impact teams beyond their immediate scope.
  • Launch and support improvement initiatives focused on process optimization, collaboration, and delivery excellence.
  • Contribute to Agile strategy development by defining shared principles, metrics, and cross-team collaboration practices while respecting team autonomy.
  • Promote a culture of transparency, experimentation, psychological safety, and continuous learning.
Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Coach, or similar role, with experience supporting multiple Agile teams simultaneously.
  • Strong understanding of Scrum, Kanban, and other Agile methodologies, with the ability to adapt practices based on team context, maturity, and business needs.
  • Proven experience developing teams and collaborating effectively with Product Owners, engineering leaders, and technical stakeholders.
  • Strong facilitation skills with experience leading complex discussions, retrospectives, workshops, and conflict resolution sessions.
  • Experience assessing team maturity, supporting team development, and building psychologically safe environments.
  • Practical experience working with Delivery and Flow Metrics such as Lead Time, Cycle Time, Throughput, WIP, Flow Efficiency, Sprint Predictability, CFD, and Velocity.
  • Ability to connect process metrics with quality indicators, business outcomes, and team health insights.
  • Experience creating dashboards and reports using tools such as Jira, Google Sheets, and Confluence.
  • Familiarity with modern software development processes, including SDLC, Git Flow, CI/CD, Release Management, SLO/SLI, and DevOps practices.
  • Strong systems thinking, ability to influence without formal authority, excellent communication skills, and confidence handling challenging conversations based on data.
  • Experience in product companies with multiple web development teams, Agile scaling initiatives, Evidence-Based Management, Liberating Structures, Agile Centers of Excellence, or a technical development background would be considered an advantage.
Benefits
  • Fully remote work with the flexibility to work from anywhere in Europe.
  • Official employment support and assistance with administrative processes where applicable.
  • 20 paid vacation days, public holidays, and paid sick leave to support work-life balance.
  • Private health insurance and psychological support coverage.
  • Monthly flexible benefits budget for hobbies, sports, wellness, and personal interests.
  • Learning and development opportunities, including individual course budgets, corporate English lessons, workshops, mentoring programs, and online learning resources.
  • Clear career development opportunities supported by performance reviews and professional growth initiatives.
  • Team-building activities, company events, and a collaborative international environment.
  • Opportunity to influence Agile practices, improve engineering processes, and work on meaningful technology challenges.
