Principal Full Stack Engineer - NET ecosystem

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Principal Full Stack Engineer - NET ecosystem based in Brazil.

This role is designed for a highly experienced engineer who wants to combine hands-on development with technical leadership in a global SaaS environment.
You will play a key role in improving application security, resolving compliance challenges, and building scalable, reliable software solutions.
The position requires strong expertise across the .NET ecosystem, architecture, troubleshooting, and modern engineering practices.
You will work on complex technical challenges involving application quality, security remediation, performance optimization, and cloud-based solutions.
The ideal candidate will have the autonomy to influence technical decisions while collaborating with international teams.

Accountabilities:

As a Principal Full Stack Engineer, you will take ownership of complex engineering initiatives, combining software development expertise with architectural guidance and security-focused problem solving. You will help improve SaaS applications by identifying risks, implementing solutions, and promoting high-quality engineering practices.

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance SaaS applications.
  • Investigate and resolve compliance, security, and application quality issues identified through AI-driven analysis.
  • Participate in architecture discussions, technical planning, and design decisions across the application stack.
  • Implement solutions to address technical challenges, security findings, and application vulnerabilities.
  • Analyze and remediate issues identified through CVEs, SAST scans, and security audits.
  • Troubleshoot complex application, performance, and reliability challenges.
  • Design and optimize relational databases, SQL queries, stored procedures, and data access strategies.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following engineering best practices.
  • Work within a Shift Left development culture focused on proactive issue identification and software quality.
  • Use AI-powered development tools and coding agents to improve productivity and accelerate solution delivery.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams and stakeholders to solve complex technical and security challenges.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate is a senior-level full stack engineer with extensive experience building enterprise applications using the .NET ecosystem. You should have strong technical judgment, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to independently drive solutions in complex environments.

  • 8+ years of professional experience developing web applications using C#, SQL, and Angular.
  • Strong experience with relational databases, stored procedures, SQL optimization, and performance-sensitive data access.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and performance optimization capabilities.
  • Experience writing unit tests and integration tests.
  • Experience working in a Shift Left engineering environment with a focus on quality and reliability.
  • Ability to take ownership of complex technical challenges and deliver scalable solutions.
  • Strong collaboration skills and experience working effectively across teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

AI & modern development experience:

  • Interest in adopting AI-powered development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, or similar platforms.
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of modern AI concepts including LLMs, MCP, RAG, or related technologies.

Nice-to-have qualifications:

  • Experience analyzing and resolving issues identified through CVEs, SAST scans, and security audits.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, indexing strategies, and query optimization.
  • Experience with AWS or other cloud environments, including services such as EC2, S3, and SES.
  • Familiarity with modern API technologies such as GraphQL.
  • Experience with AI-assisted development workflows and coding agents.
  • Previous experience building applications for large enterprise customers.
