The Workday Financials Consultant will be responsible for delivering functional expertise, supporting platform operations, and implementing sustainable solutions within the Workday Financials ecosystem. The role requires strong ownership, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to balance operational support with strategic improvements. Key responsibilities include:

• Providing hands-on configuration, troubleshooting, and daily operational support across multiple Workday Financials modules.
• Supporting key financial domains such as Financial Accounting, Expenses, and Business Assets according to evolving business priorities.
• Diagnosing system issues, resolving production tickets, and reducing technical backlog to improve platform responsiveness.
• Designing and implementing scalable solutions focused on long-term platform health and sustainability.
• Partnering with Finance, Accounting, and Procurement stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective Workday configurations.
• Driving process improvements, workflow optimization, and automation initiatives within financial operations.
• Supporting both day-to-day production activities and strategic project-based enhancements.
• Collaborating with distributed teams in an agile remote environment.
• Contributing to platform evolution through continuous improvement and best practices.

The ideal candidate is a senior Workday Financials professional with extensive consulting experience and strong functional knowledge of enterprise finance processes. The role requires technical independence, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with global teams. Required qualifications and skills include:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Workday Financials Consultant.
• Strong functional expertise in Financial Accounting, with additional experience in Expenses and Business Assets.
• Working knowledge of Banking and Settlement workflows.
• Experience supporting production environments while also contributing to strategic implementation projects.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate directly with business stakeholders.
• Experience working effectively in agile teams and fully remote environments.
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to operate independently, prioritize tasks, and act as a trusted partner to business teams.

Preferred qualifications include:

• Experience with Workday Accounting Center and Workday Prism Analytics.
• Familiarity with Workday integrations, custom reporting, Workday Orchestrations, or automation frameworks.
• Exposure to VNDLY or other vendor management systems.
• Knowledge of Procurement processes.
