Position Summary

As a Warehouse Associate / Forklift Operator, you'll help ensure products are received, stored, picked, packed, and shipped safely and accurately. Your work plays an important role in serving our customers while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe warehouse.

Essential Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks using forklifts and manual material handling techniques, including unloading, lifting, stacking, and palletizing products by hand while following safe material handling practices.
• Pick, pack, palletize, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
• Operate forklifts and other powered industrial vehicles safely.
• Use RF scanners and warehouse systems to process inventory accurately.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and organized storage locations.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Follow company safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.

QualificationsRequired

• High school diploma or GED.
• Previous warehouse and forklift operating experience.
• Ability to read and understand written safety procedures, work instructions, shipping documents, and inventory information in English, and communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers regarding job duties and workplace safety.
• Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to work occasional overtime based on business needs.

Preferred

• Current forklift certification.
• Experience operating order pickers, high lifts, or other powered industrial vehicles (PIV).
• Experience using RF scanners or warehouse management systems.
• Previous experience with order picking, palletizing, shipping, receiving, and inventory control.

Physical Requirements

This is a physically active position requiring frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, squatting, climbing, and lifting throughout the workday. Team members must be able to safely lift, push, or pull up to 70 pounds and participate in team lifts of up to 100 pounds when required.

Work Environment

Work is performed in an active warehouse environment with changing temperatures, warehouse equipment, moderate noise, and light dust. Safety is our top priority, and all team members are expected to follow established safety procedures.

Monday - Friday 7:00 am to 4:00 pm with a one-hour unpaid lunch, and two 15-minute paid breaks.
