The Position

We are currently seeking a skilled HVAC Journeyperson to join our growing team. Open positions focus on commercial and industrial refrigeration service, maintenance, and troubleshooting across multiple sites throughout the Nova Scotia area.

Role and Responsibilities:

Strong diagnose, troubleshoot, service and repair refrigeration equipment and rooftop unitsPerform preventative maintenance and inspectionsAbility to read and interpret HVAC/R schematics and blueprintsStrong work ethic, attention to detail, and team-oriented attitudeExcellent communication and customer service skillsEnsure all work is completed safely and in compliance with codes and company standards and legislationOther duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Licenced 313A Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Systems MechanicMinimum 5 years of commercial Refrigeration/HVAC experienceStrong diagnostic and troubleshooting skillsExperience with gas heating, refrigeration systems, and airflow principlesAbility to work independently and manage service callsWilling and able to work overtime, as requiredValid driver’s license with a clean abstractGas license requiredODP certification required
