Position Summary:

The Laboratory Assistant plays a vital role in supporting the daily operations of the clinical laboratory. This position is responsible for specimen collection, processing, labeling, data entry, inventory management, temperature monitoring, specimen/ order management and maintaining a clean and safe laboratory environment. The Laboratory Assistant works under the supervision of licensed laboratory personnel and ensures that all specimens are handled in accordance with established protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

Experience and Education:

Required:
• HS Diploma
• 2 years laboratory experience

Preferred:
• Clinical Laboratory Assistant certification preferred
• AS or BS in science (biology, biomedical, etc) preferred
