Blueberry Bakery is seeking a passionate and skilled **Full-Time Pastry Chef*

As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality baked goods, delicious pastries, and custom creations that keep our customers coming back for more. Key Responsibilities

*Baking & Decoration: Prepare, bake, and decorate a wide variety of pastries, cakes, pies, breads, and other sweet goods following bakery standards and recipes.
*Recipe Development: Help refine and maintain consistent recipes and presentation standards.
*Kitchen Maintenance: Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized workspace in compliance with health and safety standards.
*Inventory Control: Monitor ingredients, track inventory levels, and notify management when supplies need reordering.
*Quality Assurance: Ensure all finished products meet our standards for flavor, texture, and visual presentation before reaching customers.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions

*Standing: Ability to stand and walk on your feet for extended periods (8+ hours per shift) in a fast-paced bakery environment.
*Lifting: Must be able to regularly lift, carry, and maneuver up to 50 pounds (e.g., bulk bags of flour/sugar, heavy dough containers, and baking sheets).
*Manual Dexterity: Strong hand-eye coordination for delicate decorating and repetitive tasks.
*Work Environment: Comfortable working around hot ovens, commercial mixers, and standard baking equipment.

Qualifications & Skills

*Proven experience as a Pastry Chef, Baker, or relevant role in a commercial kitchen setup.
*Deep knowledge of baking techniques, pastry arts, and ingredient interactions.
*Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
*Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a kitchen team.
*Food safety certification (ServSafe or local equivalent) preferred.

Pay & Benefits

*Pay Range: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour
*Job Type: Full-time (Onsite)
