Position Overview

We are seeking a Conditioning Operator to join our Rolling Department at our Euclid, Ohio facility.

This role is responsible for conditioning refractory metal products by preparing, inspecting, measuring, and finishing materials to meet customer specifications and production requirements. The Conditioning Operator works closely with Production and Quality teams to ensure products are processed safely, accurately, and efficiently while maintaining the highest quality standards.

This is an excellent opportunity for a dependable manufacturing professional who enjoys hands-on work, precision measurement, and working in a team-oriented manufacturing environment. The position is a full-time, second-shift role reporting to the Production Supervisor.


Second Shift Full-Time | 12-Hour Off-Shift Schedule

Requirements: Key Responsibilities

• Operate conditioning equipment and perform finishing operations on refractory metal products
• Inspect materials using precision measuring tools, including micrometers, gauges, and tape measures
• Read and follow work orders, specifications, and production instructions to ensure product quality
• Perform material handling, identification, and movement throughout the production process
• Maintain accurate production records and complete required documentation
• Perform routine equipment inspections and maintain a clean, organized work area following 5S standards
• Follow all company safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures while supporting continuous improvement initiatives
• Cross-train on additional equipment and assist with other production activities as needed

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Previous manufacturing experience preferred
• Experience using micrometers, gauges, tape measures, or other precision measuring equipment preferred
• Ability to read and follow work instructions and production documentation
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Basic math and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
