Project Coordinator-Construction Operations in Downers Grove, Illinois at AmeriPro Roofing

AmeriPro Roofing, an industry leader in exterior home remodeling for over two decades, is immediately hiring for a customer-focused Project Coordinator to join our Operations team. As a Project Coordinator, you will serve as the primary operational liaison responsible for guiding roofing and exterior restoration projects from contract through final payment and closeout. Working closely with homeowners, insurance companies, mortgage companies, sales representatives, production teams, and internal departments, you'll help ensure every project progresses smoothly while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, building relationships, coordinating multiple priorities, and making a meaningful impact on customer satisfaction.Compensation & Benefits:

• Base Salary $48,000 to $65,000 / per year (based on direct industry experience)

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Oversight: Own the operational lifecycle of restoration projects from contract to final payment.
• Milestone Tracking: Monitor timelines and proactively resolve risks to keep projects moving smoothly.
• Client Advocacy: Serve as the primary contact for homeowners regarding schedules, warranties, and status updates.
• Issue Resolution: Handle customer inquiries and concerns with empathy, professionalism, and speed.
• Insurance Admin: Review, compile, and submit required claim forms, supplements, and invoices.
• Funding Support: Assist with mortgage company loss draft processes and customer financing questions.
• Payment Collection: Coordinate collection activities while maintaining strong, positive client relationships.
• Team Collaboration: Partner with sales, production, adjusters, and mortgage companies to resolve issues.
• System Integrity: Document communications and upload audit-ready project records daily into Service Titan.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Strong customer service and professional proactive communication skills.
• Exceptional organization with the ability to manage multiple projects
• High computer proficiency, specifically with Microsoft Office suite
• Sharp attention to detail and excellent task follow-through.

Preferred Experience:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree.
• Background in construction administration, insurance restoration, or mortgage processing.
• Hands-on experience using Service Titan or similar CRM/project management software.
