As a Business Development Associate, you will play a key role in supporting international commercial activities and helping drive growth initiatives across global markets. This position offers the opportunity to gain hands-on exposure to business development operations within the infrastructure and energy sectors while working in a fast-paced and collaborative environment. You will contribute to lead generation efforts, market research, CRM management, and reporting processes that support strategic decision-making. The role is ideal for an organised and detail-oriented professional eager to develop expertise in international sales operations and client engagement. Working alongside experienced professionals, you will help optimize outreach activities and ensure the smooth execution of business development initiatives in a globally focused setting
- Maintain and update CRM records, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of contact and company information while supporting data segmentation and cleansing initiatives.
- Conduct market and company research to identify potential leads, industry trends, and business opportunities across different regions and sectors.
- Prepare and manage prospect lists based on target industries, geographic markets, and relevant business triggers.
- Coordinate meetings and communications with prospective clients, including scheduling, follow-up activities, and virtual meeting arrangements.
- Monitor outreach pipelines and maintain task tracking systems to ensure consistent engagement and timely follow-ups.
- Support the preparation of weekly and monthly reports, dashboards, and performance summaries related to lead generation and campaign activities.
- 0–2 years of experience in administrative support, sales operations, business development support, or market research roles; internship experience is also considered valuable.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage data-driven and repetitive tasks with high accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and LinkedIn tools, with familiarity with CRM platforms; previous experience with HubSpot is advantageous.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong organisational and time-management abilities, with the capability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Proactive, reliable, and collaborative mindset with a willingness to learn and grow in an international business environment.
- Interest in infrastructure, energy, financial services, or consulting sectors is highly desirable.
- Availability to work UK business hours or maintain at least a four-hour overlap with UK working schedules.
