Position Summary
Reporting to the Senior Global Marketing Manager, the Marketing Specialist supports the development and execution of marketing initiatives with a primary focus on global marketing plans, trade shows and events. This role manages event logistics, vendor coordination, lead management, and post-event analysis while supporting broader marketing activities, including public relations, digital campaigns, content creation, and website management.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and experienced in managing multiple projects in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Trade Show & Event Management
- Plan and execute national and support regional trade shows from strategy through post-event reporting.
- Manage event budgets, track expenses, process invoices, and reconcile costs.
- Coordinate vendors, show organizers, exhibit partners, and promotional suppliers.
- Oversee trade show booth logistics, shipping, setup, teardown, and on-site services.
- Prepare attendee communications, schedules, and event materials.
- Manage lead capture and CRM uploads to support sales follow-up.
- Analyze event performance and prepare ROI reports.
Marketing Support
- Create and distribute marketing materials, including brochures, presentations, videos, and digital assets.
- Support email marketing, social media, website updates, and SEO initiatives.
- Maintain website content and digital asset libraries.
- Manage inventory of marketing collateral and promotional items.
- Collaborate with sales, product management, and agency partners on integrated marketing campaigns.
- Develop marketing calendars, campaign plans, and sales enablement materials.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 3 - 5 years of B2B marketing and event management experience, including trade show coordination.
- Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills.
- Experience collaborating across sales, marketing, product, and creative teams.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and solve problems in fast-paced environments.
- Willingness to travel internationally up to 20%.
- Ability to occasionally lift and transport event materials.
Preferred
- Brand or product management experience.
- Experience with fire protection, detection/control technologies, or building systems.
- Multilingual proficiency (Spanish, French, Portuguese, Mandarin, or Cantonese).
