What You'll Do
- Direct and manage resident health and wellness programs and services
- Monitor and maintain compliance with all applicable state licensing requirements
- Lead, coach, and develop nursing and caregiving team members, including recruitment and performance management
- Complete resident evaluations, oversee individualized care plans, and manage medication-related processes
- Collaborate with healthcare providers, family members, and outside professionals to support resident care needs
- Serve as a resource for urgent situations and provide on-call assistance to team members when needed
- Ensure resident documentation, operational policies, procedures, and training materials remain current and accurate
- Support community operations as needed and maintain a hands-on approach to resident care and team success
What You'll Need
- Active RN license in the State of Texas
- CPR Certification
- 3 - 5 years of nursing experience in an assisted living or memory care setting
- Ability to manage care team effectively
- Sensitivity and strong communication skills for working with residents and families
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends and evenings, along with stepping onto the floor to provide coverage and support when necessary.
