What you'll do

1. Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, control schematics, and BAS documentation.
2. Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical and building automation systems, including HVAC controls, lighting controls, and energy management systems.
3. Perform high- and low-voltage installations, including conduit, control wiring, panels, sensors, actuators, and BAS devices.
4. Pull, terminate, and test wiring for control panels, motors, VFDs, and building automation equipment.
5. Assist with system startup, commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting.
6. Safely operate electrical tools and testing equipment while following company safety standards.
7. Coordinate with project teams and other trades to ensure successful installations.
8. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site while properly managing tools and materials.

What we're looking for

1. High School Diploma or Trade School Certification in Electrical Technology (or related field)
2. Strong knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC) and local codes
3. Ability to read and interpret schematics and BAS drawings
4. Proficiency with electrical tools, including conduit benders and drills
5. Strong communication and teamwork skills
6. Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
7. Ability to pass background check and drug screening

Good-to-Haves

1. Experience with high-voltage and low-voltage/control systems
2. Journeyman Electrician License
3. 5+ years of relevant electrical experience
4. Experience with building automation systems (BAS)
5. Willingness to travel occasionally (overnight stays possible)
