Opportunities available in the heart of Dallas

The Practice Manager – Pediatrics is responsible for the overall operational management of the pediatric practice, ensuring efficient clinic operations, high-quality patient care, excellent patient experience, regulatory compliance, and achievement of operational and quality goals. This position works closely with pediatric providers, clinical and administrative staff, and organizational leadership to optimize patient access, workflows, staffing, productivity, and service delivery.
The position works in close partnership with the Provider Director of Pediatrics, physicians, advanced practice providers, and Operations leadership to translate clinical service needs into effective, compliant, patient-centered, and sustainable operational workflows while maintaining clear separation between clinical decision-making and operational management.
Location: Kaufman (1011 W Grove St, Kaufman TX 75142)
Here's a sneak peek at what you'll do:
- Oversee day-to-day pediatric practice operations, ensuring efficient clinical and administrative workflows.
- Lead, supervise, coach, and develop front-office, back-office, and pediatric practice staff.
- Partner with pediatric providers and leadership on staffing, scheduling, patient flow, access, and operational support.
- Monitor provider productivity, patient volumes, appointment availability, no-shows, cancellations, and access-to-care metrics.
- Develop and implement standardized pediatric workflows, policies, procedures, and processes to improve efficiency and service delivery.
- Coordinate pediatric services including well-child visits, sick visits, preventive care, immunizations, developmental screenings, and chronic disease management.
- Monitor patient access, throughput, wait times, and appointment utilization while identifying and addressing operational barriers.
- Ensure staff training, competency, performance, and compliance with organizational procedures and patient-centered service standards.
- Monitor operational, financial, quality, and patient-experience performance and prepare reports and recommendations for leadership.
- Support pediatric quality initiatives, including HEDIS, UDS, preventive care, immunizations, care gaps, and other applicable quality measures.
- Collaborate with Quality, Revenue Cycle, Clinical Operations, IT, HR, and other departments on performance improvement, referrals, documentation, authorizations, and operational needs.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, CLIA, infection prevention, patient safety, FQHC requirements, HHM standards, and applicable regulations while supporting resources, supplies, patient concerns, and overall clinic readiness.
Leadership & Accountability
The Practice Manager is accountable for ensuring that Pediatric location functions as one standardized service line rather than as independent clinics. The role establishes operational expectations, develops sustainable processes, holds clinic leadership accountable for execution, identifies barriers, and escalates clinical, safety, compliance, or operational concerns to the appropriate leadership.
