As the Quality Control Team Leader, you will lead the team responsible for inspecting, sorting, counting, and grouping finished embroidered products in our Single Head department. You will serve as a hands-on leader on the production floor, acting as the primary quality liaison between machine operators, finishing, grouping, and shipping teams to ensure every order meets World Emblem standards.

• Team Leadership & Operations: Lead, train, and assign daily tasks to the QC finishing and grouping team members. Prioritize rush orders and tight deadlines to ensure on-time shipping.

• Quality Inspection: Inspect finished pieces against approved proofs for stitch quality, thread breaks, registration, color accuracy, backing, and overall finish.

• Accuracy & Compliance: Ensure team members verify order specs (design, quantity, size, color) against work orders, as well as sort, count, group, and label items for packaging.

• Defect Management: Catch defects early, pull non-conforming items, and communicate directly with machine operators and supervisors to correct issues at the machine level.

• Reporting & Tracking: Monitor and report daily output metrics, defect rates, rework, and inventory shortages.

• Safety & Maintenance: Maintain an organized, safe, and clean working area following 5S principles.

• Hands-on Support: Step in to assist with hands-on inspection and grouping whenever additional support is needed.

• Eye for Detail: Exceptional visual awareness with the ability to spot subtle defects quickly.

• Basic Skills: Strong basic math skills for precise counting and the ability to read/understand production paperwork.

• Tech-Savvy: Basic computer proficiency (ability to use production tracking systems and email).

• Communication: Clear, constructive communication skills to give effective feedback across teams.

• Work Ethic: Reliable, organized, and adaptable in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  

• Ability to stand and/or sit for extended periods during shift.

• Capability to lift between 10 to 20 lbs.

• Repetitive hand/wrist movements.

• Good close-up vision and strong color perception.

• 100% Accuracy: Orders leave the department complete, correct, and delivered on time.

• Defect Reduction: Quality issues are caught on the floor before shipping, keeping customer returns to a minimum.
