Instrument Fitter & Mechanical Technician in Orlando, Florida at Gas Turbine Efficiency LLC

The Instrument Fitter & Mechanical Technician fabricates, installs, assembles, and tests tubing systems and mechanical equipment for industrial process systems, fuel gas conditioning skids, lube oil systems, hydraulic systems, and other engineered equipment packages, with a primary focus on instrument and mechanical tubing. Working closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Project Management, this role is critical to maintaining product quality, schedule adherence, and successful project execution.

• 3+ years of experience fabricating and installing instrumentation or mechanical tubing systems
• Ability to read engineering drawings, isometrics, P&IDs, and technical specifications
• Experience working with stainless steel, carbon steel, and specialty alloy tubing
• Strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and attention to detail
• Proficiency with tubing benders, torque tools, measuring equipment, and mechanical assembly tools
• Swagelok Tube Fitting Certification or similar training preferred
• Experience with industrial skid systems, fuel gas, hydraulic, lube oil, or process systems preferred
• Forklift, rigging, crane, or field service experience a plus

• Requires standing, walking, climbing, crouching, kneeling, reaching, lifting, and repetitive manual tasks throughout the workday, with regular use of hand and power tools and tubing fabrication equipment. May require lifting up to 50 pounds and working in manufacturing workshop, warehouse, and occasional field-service environments.
