Production Planning / Expediter Assistant in Rochester, New York at Tokai Carbon GS

• Assemble and release job routers based on Engineering or Quote instructions.
• All job-related data entry functions.
• Reconciliation of material and job discrepancies with Production Planner.
• Data collection, analysis, and reporting of production-related metrics to management.
• o track jobs against start and ship dates.
• o get late-starting jobs moving with Production
• Administration and management of production related ISO 9000 paperwork.
• Work and effectively communicate with co-workers and supervisors.
• o get job status from Supervisors, AFMs, and Plant Managers.
• Ability to comply with Tokai Carbon standards of operations.
• Ability to adhere to the Core Values of the Company.

· ERP Systems experience with a concentration on job and inventory management

· Job-Shop experience

· Troubleshooting experience with job cost and inventory variances

· Proficient with MS Office products: especially Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Visio.

Non-Essential Functions: Perform other duties as assigned by management

Education:

High School Degree or Equivalent.

Experience:

2-4 years' work experience. (machine shop environment preferred)
