Shipper/Reciever in Fort Lupton, Colorado at Charm Industrial

As a Shipping & Receiving Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day flow of materials, parts, and freight across the site, ensuring inbound and outbound shipments are received, inspected, documented, stored, and delivered accurately and efficiently. You will receive general parts and materials into NetSuite, inspect incoming goods for accuracy and condition, and ensure inventory is properly stocked and available to Operations, Engineering, and Facilities teams.

You will coordinate inbound freight, dock appointments, carrier access, and on-site pickups and drop-offs, working closely with internal teams to ensure shipments have the appropriate information and documentation. You will also prepare outbound shipments by verifying carriers, freight class, dimensions, weights, and shipping documentation before release. This role will support domestic and international FedEx shipments, including preparing commercial and packing documentation when required.

A key part of the role is maintaining accurate material flow and inventory control throughout the site. You will be responsible for processing material transfers between receiving, staging, storage, kitting, production, and shipping locations while maintaining organized dock and staging areas to prevent materials from becoming mixed, lost, or unprocessed.

You will maintain detailed shipping and receiving records to support supplier and customer traceability, including proof of delivery and documentation for freight damage, shortages, overages, and concealed damage. When issues arise, you will gather receiving evidence and escalate them to the appropriate teams.

In addition to shipping and receiving responsibilities, this role will provide support to the Facilities team by assisting with Facilities work orders and site-related tasks as needed. This may include helping with general site maintenance, material movement, inventory organization, setup and teardown activities, and other day-to-day Facilities needs. The ability to shift between warehouse, shipping and receiving, and Facilities responsibilities based on site priorities will be an important part of the role.

Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, organization, communication, and the ability to prioritize competing requests while keeping materials and site operations moving efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse, logistics, inventory, or a related operational environment

• Basic to intermediate computer skills, including proficiency with email, Microsoft Office/Google Workspace, data entry, and learning new software systems

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate inventory and shipment documentation

• Ability to safely receive, inspect, move, stage, and store materials and equipment

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to keep material-flow and staging areas clean and organized

• Ability to prioritize multiple requests and adapt to changing site needs

• Strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate effectively with Operations, Facilities, vendors, and carriers

• A safety-first mindset and willingness to follow established safety procedures and site requirements

• Ability to work independently while knowing when to escalate issues or ask for support

• Willingness to assist with hands on Facilities tasks and work orders as needed

• Ability to safely lift, carry, and move materials as required for the role

• Forklift, pallet jack, MEWP, or other material-handling equipment experience

• Experience using ERP or inventory management systems, particularly NetSuite

• Experience using a CMMS to manage Facilities work orders, preventive maintenance, or asset records

• Experience coordinating freight shipments, dock appointments, and carrier access

• Familiarity with freight classifications, dimensions, weights, and shipping documentation

• Experience preparing domestic and international shipping documentation, including commercial invoices and packing lists

• Experience documenting freight damage, shortages, overages, and concealed damage

• Previous experience supporting Facilities, maintenance, construction, or site operations

• Experience working in a fast-paced industrial, manufacturing, laboratory, or technical environment

• A proactive approach to identifying problems and finding practical solutions
