Product Manager - ERP Platform in Brazil at Jobgether

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Product Manager - ERP Platform based in Brazil.

This role owns the ERP platform and the ecosystem of systems and tools connected to it, with a strong focus on operational reliability and scalability. You will take ownership of Odoo, its modules, integrations, data model, permissions, versions, upgrades, and functional debt. Working alongside another Product Manager focused on strategic ERP initiatives, you will lead the platform and day-to-day operational demand. A key part of the role is designing the integration layer between core financial systems and the ERP. You will also improve how events, reconciliations, reporting, and operational workflows are handled across connected systems. The role offers significant ownership and influence over the evolution of a critical financial technology platform.

• Own the ERP platform and its broader ecosystem, including the data model, modules, versions, permissions, upgrades, and functional debt.
• Evaluate incoming business and operational requests and determine whether they should be addressed through native ERP capabilities or custom modules, maintaining clear rationale for those decisions.
• Design and maintain the integration layer between core systems such as the ledger, payments, and collections platforms and the ERP.
• Define reliable processes for mapping system events to accounting entries, including idempotency, event reprocessing, and reconciliation when events are duplicated or received incorrectly.
• Take ownership of connected satellite systems and tools, including integrations, operational reporting, manual data loads, and reconciliation workflows.
• Identify opportunities to replace spreadsheet-based or manual operational processes with more reliable, scalable platform capabilities.
• Collaborate closely with the Product Manager responsible for strategic ERP initiatives, ensuring the platform can support new products, business expansion, and evolving accounting requirements.
• Balance operational needs, technical constraints, platform stability, and long-term maintainability when prioritizing and delivering improvements.

• Experience in Product Management, particularly with ERP, financial systems, enterprise platforms, or operational technology products.
• Strong understanding of ERP platforms and the challenges involved in managing modules, integrations, data models, permissions, upgrades, and functional customization.
• Experience working with Odoo or comparable ERP platforms is highly relevant.
• Understanding of financial and accounting system integrations, including ledgers, payments, accounts receivable/payable, collections, reconciliations, and operational reporting.
• Ability to work with technical teams on event-driven integrations, data mapping, idempotency, reprocessing, and reconciliation workflows.
• Strong product judgment and ability to distinguish when native platform capabilities are preferable to custom development.
• Experience managing operational product demand while balancing short-term business needs with long-term platform scalability and maintainability.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex systems and dependencies.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, particularly when working across Product, Engineering, Finance, and operational stakeholders.
• Comfortable taking end-to-end ownership of a critical platform and making decisions that have long-term technical and operational implications.
