This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Business Systems Analyst, IT Services based in the United States.

This role serves as a senior functional and technical expert for Deltek Vantagepoint, helping optimize critical enterprise business processes and systems. You will work across project management, finance, resource management, CRM, reporting, and related business functions. The position combines business analysis, ERP configuration, systems governance, integrations, and continuous improvement. You will partner with stakeholders across Finance, Human Resources, Marketing, Operations, and Project Management to translate business needs into scalable technology solutions. The role also provides leadership across system enhancements, upgrades, organizational changes, integrations, and process improvements. This is an opportunity to influence enterprise application strategy while acting as a trusted advisor on ERP capabilities and best practices.

• Lead complex system analysis, configuration, administration, optimization, and support for Deltek Vantagepoint and related enterprise functionality.

• Assess the impact of organizational changes, company structures, security models, project hierarchies, and master data decisions across financial, operational, reporting, and integrated systems.

• Partner with Finance, Project Management, Human Resources, Marketing, Operations, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and develop effective system solutions.

• Translate business and functional requirements into system configurations, workflows, security roles, organizational structures, dashboards, reports, and process improvements.

• Lead the evaluation, prioritization, and implementation of enhancements, change requests, and business process improvements.

• Analyze and support integrations between Vantagepoint and enterprise applications, including HRIS, Power BI, data platforms, and third-party solutions.

• Perform system impact assessments, root cause analysis, troubleshooting, and solution design for complex business and technical issues.

• Collaborate with process owners, developers, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure solutions align with enterprise standards and strategic objectives.

• Define and oversee functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing activities.

• Support ERP governance by assessing risks, documenting decisions, maintaining system documentation, and ensuring changes follow established approval processes.

• Provide training, guidance, and knowledge transfer to business stakeholders, administrators, and support teams.

• Participate in ERP upgrades, feature adoption, release planning, and long-term application roadmap initiatives.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

• 5+ years of experience supporting, analyzing, designing, or implementing enterprise business applications in a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, Functional Consultant, or Technical Business Analyst capacity.

• 3+ years of experience working with complex enterprise ERP platforms.

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Deltek Vantagepoint configuration, administration, reporting, and process optimization.

• Experience with Vantagepoint project accounting, resource planning, CRM, project management, and organizational structures.

• Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into system configurations, specifications, workflows, and technical designs.

• Experience analyzing system integrations, data flows, interfaces, and cross-system dependencies.

• Experience supporting enterprise software implementations, upgrades, enhancements, and data conversion initiatives.

• Strong system impact analysis, root cause analysis, problem-solving, documentation, and solution design capabilities.

• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and business teams.

• Preferred: 7–10+ years supporting enterprise ERP platforms and related business processes.

• Preferred: knowledge of ERP security models, role-based access controls, and segregation of duties principles.

• Preferred: experience serving as a lead analyst or solution lead during ERP upgrades, implementations, or post-go-live stabilization.

• Preferred: experience in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry.

• Preferred: experience mentoring junior analysts or serving as a functional lead on enterprise technology initiatives.

• Salary range of $130,000–$140,000, depending on experience and geographic location.
