About the Role
We have a 5-month fixed term opportunity to support the Lower North Island Team in the Senior Store Support role. As Senior Store Support, you’ll play a key role in supporting Store Managers across the region —covering leave, seasonal peaks, and training assistance. This role reports to the Stores Operations Manager for the LNI region. You’ll help maintain high standards in housekeeping, repairs, and safety, while ensuring our stores run smoothly and efficiently. This dynamic role is designed for someone who thrives on variety, challenge, and making a real difference every day. You must be willing to travel accross the Lower North Island Region.
What You’ll Do
- Support Store Managers and staff to keep operations running at peak performance
- Maintain store sites to the highest standards of safety, cleanliness, and efficiency
- Deliver excellence in customer service—exceeding expectations every day
- Assist with promotional activities and area responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies
- Manage inventory and contribute to cost-effective delivery of products
- Collaborate with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
What You’ll Bring
- Experience across our stores network and providing outstanding customer service
- Mobile Plant licences (Class 2, F and W endorsed) and current forklift OSH certificate
- Strong communication and computer literacy (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to thrive under pressure in high-volume situations
