Job Description

Partnership Manager

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Partnership Manager based in Switzerland.

We are looking for an experienced Partnership Manager to drive revenue growth and strengthen strategic relationships across the global programmatic advertising ecosystem. In this role, you will own a portfolio of supply-side platforms (SSPs) and demand-side platforms (DSPs), managing commercial relationships, performance optimization, and long-term partner value. You will combine strategic negotiation skills with data-driven decision-making to maximize revenue across display, video, connected TV (CTV), and audio advertising. Working closely with Product, Technology, Finance, Legal, and Demand Operations teams, you will turn partner insights into actionable growth strategies and operational improvements. You will also evaluate new partnership opportunities, oversee onboarding coordination, and ensure compliance with data protection requirements. This is an opportunity to take significant ownership in a fast-growing, international adtech environment where initiative, analytical thinking, and measurable business impact are highly valued.

Accountabilities
  • Strategic Partnership Management: Own the end-to-end management of a global portfolio of SSPs and emerging DSPs, serving as the primary business contact and ensuring strong relationships, sustainable growth, and continued strategic relevance.

  • Commercial Relationship Development: Establish regular business reviews, align partner roadmaps, coordinate strategic discussions, and maintain effective communication between external partners and internal Product, Technology, and Demand Operations teams.

  • Revenue Growth and Performance Optimization: Set revenue targets for individual partners, monitor performance trends, and develop tailored growth plans to increase revenue across display, video, CTV, and audio advertising channels.

  • Revenue Analysis and Reporting: Track monthly revenue performance, month-over-month trends, year-over-year growth, revenue shares, and financial discrepancies. Translate performance data into actionable recommendations using internal reporting tools and analytics.

  • Yield and Commercial Negotiations: Lead discussions around partner performance, fees, commercial terms, and revenue-sharing arrangements. Benchmark partners against one another and recommend resource allocation and optimization strategies that maximize net revenue.

  • Technical and Inventory Optimization: Identify opportunities to improve bid dynamics, supply management, queries per second (QPS), format expansion, and private marketplace (PMP) deal configurations in collaboration with Technology and Technical Account Management teams.

  • New Partner Qualification: Assess inbound SSP and DSP opportunities based on technical compatibility, expected revenue uplift, strategic fit, and commercial potential. Build business cases, negotiate contractual terms with Legal, and prioritize opportunities that offer measurable value.

  • Partner Integration and Onboarding: Prepare structured briefs for qualified and contracted partners and coordinate handovers to the Demand Operations integration team. Maintain ownership of the commercial relationship throughout onboarding and monitor ongoing partner performance.

  • Conflict and Escalation Management: Resolve commercial, technical, and financial disputes while protecting business interests and maintaining productive partner relationships. Coordinate with Legal, Finance, and Technology teams to drive issues toward resolution.

  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Mobilize the appropriate internal stakeholders to address contractual questions, integration requirements, technical specifications, billing issues, and reconciliation discrepancies, ensuring clear ownership and timely follow-through.

  • Portfolio Visibility and Operational Excellence: Build and maintain dashboards, reporting processes, and documentation that provide visibility into revenue performance, partner health, discrepancies, and growth opportunities across the Demand organization.

  • Privacy and Compliance: Coordinate compliance reviews for partnerships involving personal data, including user identifiers, consent strings, and seller information. Engage the Data Protection Officer and programmatic privacy specialists to validate the lawful basis for processing, data processing agreements, and data minimization before integrations go live.

  • Market Intelligence: Monitor the SSP and DSP landscape, identify emerging opportunities, assess competitive developments, and recommend partnership strategies that strengthen revenue potential and market positioning.

  • AI-Enabled Operations: Structure workflows, reporting, and documentation so that AI-powered tools can support scalable partner operations, improve efficiency, and enable consistent execution.

Requirements:
  • 6–10 years of professional experience in adtech or programmatic advertising, ideally in demand-side monetization, SSP partnerships, ad exchanges, publisher partnerships, yield management, or strategic partner management.

  • Deep understanding of the programmatic advertising ecosystem, including Prebid, header bidding, OpenRTB, dynamic allocation, sellers.json, ads.txt, and SupplyChain Object (schain).

  • Strong familiarity with major SSPs and advertising platforms, such as Magnite, Index Exchange, Google Ad Exchange, and Amazon's Transparent Ad Marketplace (TAM) or A9.

  • Proven commercial and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage strategic relationships with major partners, challenge performance and commercial conditions, negotiate contracts, and independently drive revenue growth.

  • Strong analytical capabilities and confidence working with revenue and performance metrics, including revenue share, revenue per mille (RPM), fill rate, win rate, and financial discrepancies.

  • Experience building or managing dashboards, reporting tools, and performance-tracking processes that translate complex data into clear business insights and actionable growth plans.

  • Demonstrated ability to resolve conflicts, manage escalations, and coordinate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders, including Legal, Technology, Finance, and Technical Account Management.

  • Familiarity with commercial contracts, insertion orders (IOs), and data processing agreements (DPAs), along with a solid understanding of GDPR obligations and privacy considerations in programmatic advertising.

  • Strong business judgment when evaluating new partnership opportunities, including the ability to assess technical feasibility, estimate revenue potential, and develop evidence-based business cases.

  • Excellent organizational skills and a structured approach to managing multiple partners, commercial priorities, performance reviews, and integration pipelines simultaneously.

  • Fluency in both French and English, with the ability to communicate confidently with international partners and internal stakeholders in writing and conversation.

  • An AI-oriented mindset, with the ability to design structured workflows, clear documentation, and repeatable processes that enable intelligent tools to support operational scale.

  • Strategic thinking combined with a hands-on, results-driven approach to execution, prioritization, and problem-solving.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, active listening, and the confidence to challenge established practices constructively while maintaining effective working relationships.

  • Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, with the ability to prioritize high-impact activities and apply the 80/20 principle to business decisions.

  • A collaborative mindset, with a commitment to transparency, accountability, continuous learning, and shared business objectives.

Benefits:
  • Fully remote work: A flexible remote-first environment that allows you to work from a location that suits your lifestyle, with access to offices in Paris, Lille, and London.

  • Competitive compensation: A remuneration package aligned with the scope of the role, experience, and commercial responsibilities.

  • Health coverage: Comprehensive health benefits to support your well-being.

  • Pension benefits: Access to pension plans as part of the employee benefits package.

  • Additional rest days: RTT days, depending on role and tenure, to support work-life balance and recovery.

  • Flexible working environment: The autonomy to organize your work while collaborating with an international team across multiple markets.

  • Professional development: Training opportunities, career development discussions, HR check-ins, and regular performance feedback.

  • Internal mobility: Opportunities to explore new responsibilities and grow your career as the organization expands.

  • International collaboration: Work with colleagues across 11 countries in a diverse, close-knit, and collaborative environment.

  • High-impact responsibilities: Take ownership of strategic partnerships and directly influence revenue growth, commercial performance, and business development.

  • Fast-growing industry: Contribute to the evolution of AI-powered advertising technology across display, video, CTV, and audio.

  • Team events: Participate in regular social activities and company gatherings that strengthen relationships and celebrate shared achievements.

  • Inclusive culture: Join a team committed to equal opportunities, diversity, transparency, accountability, and collective success.
