WHAT YOU'LL DO

As the Assistant Center Manager, you’ll support the Center Manager with overseeing daily center operations while motivating the team to meet performance goals and deliver exceptional guest experiences. This is a full-time, in-center leadership position.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the center’s business and team in the Center Manager’s absence, including during PTO, meetings, and other scheduled time awayUnderstand center KPIs and use performance insights to identify opportunities, guide priorities, and drive resultsMeet and exceed Wax Pass and retail sales goalsCoach Associates on effective selling behaviors and provide ongoing performance feedback and developmentDeliver an exceptional guest experience from check-in to check-outLead guest experience follow-up, including reviewing and responding to guest returns daily as neededPartner with the Center Manager to resolve guest concerns in a timely mannerAssist in daily operations, scheduling, and team supportAssist with onboarding and trainingEnsure a high standard of cleanlinessMotivate and coach team members to achieve success through performance, increased sales opportunities, and profitabilityBuild lasting relationships with guests and team membersSupport center and market growth through grassroots marketing efforts, including distributing referral cards outside the center, completing contact follow-up, and helping Wax Specialists do the samePartner with the Center Manager to build networking relationships within the local community and create a strong pipeline of center talentParticipate in local events to increase awareness and drive additional guest trafficSupport center growth through sales and service excellenceTake ownership and accountability for creating a positive work environmentCelebrate positive Associate performance and partner with the Center Manager to identify performance opportunities for ongoing feedback and developmentSupport the Center Manager in recruiting and training quality candidates who reflect the EWC brand and will deliver the desired results

1–2 years of experience (retail and/or beauty preferred, but not required)Prior leadership experience with strong Associate coaching and development skillsWorking knowledge of key performance indicators (KPIs) and how to leverage them to improve business resultsAspiration and readiness to develop into a Center Manager role within 6–12 months

SCHEDULING REQUIREMENTS

This is a full-time leadership role. Flexible availability is required to support business needs, including a mix of opening, closing, and weekend shifts. Assistant Center Managers are typically expected to work two Saturdays per month. Hours and schedules may vary based on business needs.
