You’ll apply your technical expertise in Civil 3D, data quality, and coordination to deliver precise, dependable results, while gaining the mentorship and experience that prepare you for project management leadership.
About the Role
Bohler’s Boca Raton, FL or West Palm Beach, FL office is seeking an Assistant Project Manager, Survey to support our growing land development team serving the Palm Beach and broader South Florida markets. In this role, you’ll prepare and review field surveys, direct staff, and perform quality control on a wide range of survey documents, from boundary and ALTA surveys to plats and record drawings. You’ll work closely with Project Managers, field crews, and CAD technicians to ensure data accuracy, schedule alignment, and project success.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare, review, and monitor field surveys for multiple projects simultaneously
- Direct and coordinate field and office teams to execute survey deliverables efficiently
- Review survey plans, record plats, legal descriptions, and title reports for accuracy
- Conduct boundary analysis and computations of ALTA, topographic, utility, and roadway surveys using AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Ensure quality control across all survey drawings and reports
- Assist in mentoring and training field crews, CAD technicians, and junior staff
- Communicate project progress, challenges, and solutions with internal teams and clients
- Support project scheduling and coordination across departments and external stakeholders

What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in surveying, geomatics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of land surveying experience with demonstrated technical proficiency
- Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D and survey data management practices
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to balance multiple priorities and deliver accurate results under tight deadlines
- SIT certification or equivalent credentials preferred
- Self-starter with strong leadership potential and a proactive approach to problem-solving
