This remote opportunity requires a Seattle-based professional who can maintain strong in-market relationships across the Pacific Northwest, the Bay Area, and Portland.
Accountabilities:The Director of Brand Partnerships will lead new business development and revenue generation across a dynamic advertising territory, combining strategic relationship building, consultative selling, and market development. Key responsibilities include:
- Own the full sales cycle, including prospecting, pitching, negotiating, closing, and renewing advertising accounts.
- Build a multi-million-dollar book of business from the ground up, with a strong emphasis on new customer acquisition and pipeline development.
- Present and sell video advertising opportunities across television, OTT/CTV, and DOOH inventory, articulating both insertion order (IO) and programmatic direct buying options.
- Develop and strengthen relationships with major advertisers, agency partners, programmatic teams, and direct clients across the Pacific Northwest, Bay Area, and Portland.
- Introduce innovative advertising solutions to brands and agencies, helping them understand how to allocate video advertising budgets effectively across emerging platforms.
- Build relationships with major regional advertisers, particularly in technology, telecommunications, e-commerce, travel, and apparel.
- Evaluate incoming requests for proposals (RFPs), prioritizing opportunities with strong revenue potential and long-term relationship value.
- Drive proactive outreach and coordinate with sales support teams to maximize prospecting efficiency and conversion.
- Use data analytics, audience insights, and campaign performance information to strengthen client presentations and sales narratives.
- Maintain accurate customer relationship management (CRM) records and manage all sales activities associated with the assigned client portfolio.
- Develop innovative, client-specific campaign strategies that create differentiated opportunities and generate measurable business value.
- Gather client feedback, identify market needs, and communicate recommendations to sales leadership.
- Monitor advertising industry trends, conferences, emerging technologies, and market opportunities to maintain a competitive advantage.
- Represent the business at industry events and client meetings, traveling regularly and participating in relationship-building activities outside standard working hours when needed.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, contributing to a team-first culture while independently managing territory development and sales objectives.

- Verifiable client references who can speak to professional credibility, relationship strength, and a consistent record of sales results.
- Proven ability to build a multi-million-dollar book of business from scratch, with a clear focus on prospecting, new account acquisition, and revenue generation rather than managing an existing portfolio.

- Ability to work autonomously with minimal oversight, develop a sales territory from the ground up, and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities.
- Willingness and ability to travel regularly for industry conferences, events, and in-person client meetings.
- Flexibility to entertain clients outside standard business hours, including occasional evenings and weekends, to support relationship development.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage numerous accounts and sales opportunities effectively.
- Excellent presentation, negotiation, and consultative selling skills, including the ability to tailor pitch materials to individual clients and close deals by addressing specific business needs.
- Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal colleagues and external stakeholders.
- A proactive, resilient, and innovative mindset, with the ability to learn from challenges, rejection, and unsuccessful sales efforts.
- Current residence in Seattle, Washington, with the ability to build and maintain direct client relationships across the Pacific Northwest, Bay Area, and Portland.
Experience in television, video advertising, and/or digital out-of-home media is highly desirable.
Benefits:
- Base salary ranging from $170,000 to $180,000 per year, plus commission.
- Potential eligibility for a discretionary bonus based on individual and company performance.
- Company equity.
- 401(k) retirement plan with employer matching.
- Competitive insurance plans.
- Flexible time off policy.
- Remote working arrangement with the requirement to be based in Seattle, Washington.
- Opportunity to develop a new advertising channel and build strategic partnerships with major brands and agencies.
- High-impact sales role with significant ownership over territory development, client relationships, and new business generation.
