Job Description

A Sanitation Technician is responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary environment in various settings. This role involves tasks like cleaning floors, restrooms, and other public spaces, as well as collecting and disposing of waste. In some cases, they may also be responsible for maintaining and servicing sanitation equipment.

Supports process and facility operations complying with FDA and GMP requirements. Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors daily and additionally as necessary. Empty all trashcans and replace liners daily and additionally as necessary. Dust, clean and sanitize all doors, handles and other surfaces that are frequently touched, at minimum daily. Clean and sanitize restrooms and break rooms using established practices and procedure, and replenish supplies as needed. Maintain supplies closet in a clean, organized, and safe manner. Maintain janitorial equipment in a clean, safe, and operable condition. Properly label, dilute and use appropriate chemicals and cleaners safely and productively according to instructions. Always wear proper Personal Protective Equipment. Notify Administrative Manager of need to order supplies as necessary. Able to effectively communicate and interact with coworkers, managers and customers/clients. Other duties as assigned.
