Are You a Top Closer Ready to Lead?
We're hiring an Associate Sales Manager to join our Inside Sales team as a true Player-Coach, someone who leads by example on the phones while developing the next wave of high-volume closers. If you live for the close but also get fired up watching a rep you've coached land their first big deal, keep reading.
This is an 80/20 role: 80% personal production, 20% coaching and team leadership. You'll be in the trenches with your pod every day, modeling the standards you expect from them.
What You'll Do
Drive Personal Production
- Hit and exceed individual sales targets with a minimum 30% close rate
- Manage a high-volume personal pipeline
- Lead your pod in scorecard KPI's, set the bar everyone else is aiming for
Coach and Develop the Pod
- Provide real-time coaching to junior reps, helping them pivot tough conversations toward a successful close
- Run daily pipeline scrubs to keep leads moving
- Facilitate role-play and objection-handling sessions during morning huddles and 1:1s
- Serve as the primary shadow partner for new hires during onboarding to accelerate their time-to-productivity
Recruit and Build the Bench
- Partner with HR to source candidates who fit the "high-volume closer" profile
- Lead the technical interview stage, using role-play simulations to assess coachability and closing instinct
- Identify High-Potential reps early and build tailored development plans that prepare them for Senior Rep and Lead roles
Own the Operating Rhythm
- Lead the daily Morning Huddle to share wins, align the team, and set the tone for the day
- Conduct weekly 1:1 coaching sessions tied to individual KPIs
- Run monthly Sales Clinics on script nuances and seasonal strategy
- Execute weekly QA audits on a random sample of pod calls to ensure compliance with policies, disclosures, and brand standards
Be the Voice from the Field
- Report competitor tactics, pricing shifts, and market signals you hear on calls
- Deliver weekly script and product feedback directly to the CMO
- Partner with marketing to refine objection-handling resources based on real-time market shifts
What You Bring
- 3+ years of inside sales experience with a documented track record of exceeding quota
- Proven closer, you've consistently held a 30%+ close rate in a high-volume environment
- Experience coaching, mentoring, or formally managing junior reps
- Working knowledge of CRM platforms (SalesExec, FieldRoutes, or similar)
- Strong command of objection handling, pipeline management, and consultative selling
- Comfort operating in a transparent, metrics-driven, competitive culture
- Excellent verbal communication and the ability to coach in the moment
- Pest control, home services, or other recurring-service industry experience strongly preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required
