Job Description
Sr Project Mgr Design and Construction
The Senior Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, design, and pre-construction and construction phases of capital improvement, renovation, and new construction projects. This role ensures consistent project delivery aligned with organizational standards, regulatory requirements, and project objectives.The Senior Project Manager collaborates with organizational leadership, internal stakeholders, and external consultants to plan and deliver projects that meet operational needs, budget constraints, and schedule requirements. This role works closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and vendors to ensure projects are completed efficiently and in accordance with established quality, safety, and design standards.
Annual Salary Range: $105,164.80 - $155,126.40
Qualifications
Education:
- Requires minimum Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
- Master’s Degree and/or professional registration preferred.
Experience:
- Requires a minimum of eight (8) years’ experience related experience that demonstrates a thorough understanding of the required knowledge, skills, and abilities with enterprise projects.
- Minimum of two (2) years of leadership experience in a healthcare or equivalent setting.
Certification/Licensure:
- Professional licensure or industry certification related to architecture, engineering, or related field preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Must be approachable, people oriented, and a good listener.
- Requires the ability to be a creative, independent thinker.
- Must exhibit a high degree of professionalism, customer service, and enthusiasm, combined with the ability to build relationships with business and key stakeholders.
- Ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
- Must have excellent organizational, managerial, decision making, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to plan, organize, and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience managing design and construction projects of varying size and complexity ranging from $2M to $300M.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team both internal and external.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Requires the ability to read, write and speak effectively in English.
