Accountabilities:

  • Foster a culture of technical excellence, accountability, rapid experimentation, and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee the full software development lifecycle, ensuring scalable, secure, and high-quality product delivery.
  • Implement AI-assisted engineering practices and intelligent automation to improve team productivity and accelerate delivery timelines.
  • Partner closely with product, design, analytics, and business teams to identify growth opportunities and align priorities.
  • Establish and refine agile development processes, workflows, and engineering best practices.
  • Translate technical concepts into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders and leadership teams.
  • Promote a customer-centric engineering mindset focused on delivering intuitive, high-performing user experiences.
  • Contribute to long-term technical strategy, scalability planning, and innovation initiatives across the platform.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of professional engineering experience, including significant experience managing software engineering teams.
  • Proven track record leading high-performing engineering organizations and delivering complex, scalable software products.
  • Strong technical expertise in modern development stacks such as Node.js, Ruby on Rails, React, AWS, Terraform, and observability tools like Datadog.
  • Experience leveraging AI-powered development tools and workflows to improve engineering velocity and product delivery.
  • Deep understanding of agile software development methodologies including Scrum and Kanban.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building capabilities with a focus on accountability and performance.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to bridge technical and business discussions.
  • Strategic mindset with strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in fast-moving environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience; advanced degrees are a plus.
  • Passion for building customer-focused products and driving measurable business impact through technology.
Benefits:
  • Competitive base salary ranging from $155,000 to $215,000 annually.
  • Additional compensation opportunities including bonuses, variable pay, and equity packages.
  • Flexible remote and hybrid work options designed to support productivity and work-life balance.
  • Comprehensive employee benefits package including healthcare coverage and wellness support.
  • Access to modern tools, resources, and technology to enable high-performance engineering work.
  • Career growth and leadership development opportunities within a rapidly scaling technology environment.
  • Collaborative and innovation-driven culture with strong emphasis on ownership and impact.
  • Opportunity to contribute to a fast-growing platform serving millions of users and businesses.
