Electrician Position Summary
Repairs, installs, replaces and tests electrical circuits, equipment, and appliances using hand tools and testing instruments, to supply electrical power for lighting and equipment operation in the hospital. Performs all work in a workman-like manner and in accordance with current National Electrical Codes. Delivers exceptional quality and service to all patients and other customers. Through a constant pursuit of excellence and respect for every individual, fosters an environment of participation, teamwork and professional growth.
Electrician Position Requirements
Education
- High school graduate, with courses in blueprint reading, electricity, mathematics and physics.
- May be required to be certified in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation.
Experience
- Must have 5 years' experience working as an active, hands-on electrician with a single-phase and three-phase background.
- A valid driver's license and verification of insurability under TidalHealths automobile insurance plan is required.
- A DOT physical will be required at least once every 24 months for each driver operating vehicles with a gross vehicle weight (GVW) or a gross vehicle weight rating of at least 10,001 pounds.
Electrician Work Schedule
- Assigned to day shift, Monday through Friday.
- Participates in weekend coverage rotation.
- Expected to work overtime and evenings/nights on occasion and to respond to emergency calls when needed.

Salary Range: $23.25 - $36.04 Commensurate with experience
