Bartender in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania at St. Clair Country Club

We are looking for an enthusiastic, skilled Bartender to join our team and provide an exceptional experience for our members. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology, a deep knowledge of spirits and beverages, steps of service and the ability to maintain a high-energy, welcoming atmosphere behind the bar.

• Drink Preparation: Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including classic cocktails, signature creations, wine, and beer, while adhering to standardized recipes.
• Member Engagement: Greet members & guests warmly, make recommendations based on their preferences, and provide attentive service throughout their visit.
• Bar Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked bar area. This includes cleaning glassware, wiping down surfaces, and replenishing garnishes and ice.
• Compliance: Verify guest identification to ensure they meet the legal drinking age and monitor guest alcohol consumption to promote a safe environment.
• Collaboration: Work closely with servers and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service for both bar and dining room guests.

• Experience: Previous experience as a bartender in a private club environment is highly preferred.
• Product Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of cocktail recipes, spirits, wine varietals, and craft beer styles.
• Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with a diverse range of guests and team members.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to remain on your feet for long shifts, lift up to 30 lbs (e.g., cases of beer or liquor), and move quickly in a high-volume setting.
• Certification: Valid local or state-required alcohol server certification.
