Electrician in Sussex, New Brunswick at The Shaw Group

Prestige Homes, a division of the Shaw Group, is seeking motivated individuals for Electrician roles, ranging in experience from Electrical Apprentice to Red Seal Electrician, to join our team at our manufacturing facility in Sussex, New Brunswick.

These roles are ideal for skilled tradespersons who value safety, quality workmanship, and teamwork in a stable, professional work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently as needed.
• Install wiring, control systems, lighting, and electrical panels.
• Test electrical systems and continuity using testing devices.
• Ensure all work complies with the Canadian Electrical Code, provincial regulations, and company standards.
• Collaborate with team members to meet operational schedules and production goals.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.

Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of electrical systems, installation methods, materials, and tools.
• Commitment to workplace health and safety.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
• Reliable attendance and positive work ethic.
• 2+ years experience working in Electrical, or as an Electrical Helper.
• Block 1 (or more) of Electrical and/or Skilled Trade Qualifications are preferred.
• Valid Red Seal Carpenter certification (Interprovincial Endorsement) is an asset.
