About the Role

The Assistant Manager plays an important role in the success of the store by supporting daily operations, developing Team Members, and creating an exceptional Guest experience. You’ll help uphold Smoothie King standards and values while driving sales, profitability, product quality, and a positive store culture.

Key Responsibilities
Lead, coach, motivate, and develop Team Members
Create an exceptional Guest experience and promote a Guest-first attitude
Maintain high standards for product quality, cleanliness, and food safety
Help drive sales, profitability, and overall store performance
Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and identify opportunities for improvement
Support company programs, operational initiatives, and store goals
Assist with hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management
Delegate responsibilities and ensure smooth day-to-day operations
Recognize Team Member accomplishments and promote a positive, respectful workplace
Handle Guest and Team Member concerns calmly and professionally
Maintain compliance with company policies and applicable operational requirements
Complete cash handling, inventory, financial reporting, checklists, and other required documentation accurately
Support community outreach, local marketing, and special events
Manage priorities effectively and ensure assigned tasks are completed on time

Experience
4+ years of Guest Service experience in a restaurant or retail environment
2+ years of management or supervisory experience
1+ year of experience reviewing or analyzing financial reports
Experience building community relationships is preferred

Physical & Job Requirements

Candidates must be able to:
Follow company procedures, dress code, cleanliness, and food safety standards
Operate store equipment, including blenders and the POS system
Move boxes and products weighing up to 55 lbs.
Bend, reach, scoop, and move throughout assigned shifts
Move products in refrigerators and freezers with temperatures ranging from approximately 40°F to -10°F
Work around a variety of fresh, dried, frozen, and powdered food products and ingredients, including strawberries, bananas, peanuts, tree nuts, milk, soy, proteins, grains, and spices
