The duties for this position include:

• Inspect, operate and test machinery and equipment to diagnose source of problems, determining parts and estimated time frame to complete repairs;
• Experience trouble shooting wiring diagrams and PLC controls;
• Must have experience working with automated equipment including conveyor systems, pickers, cranes, saws, etc…
• Full understanding of safety systems related to operations of automated systems;
• Must be familiar with working safely around high and low voltage systems and be familiar with lockout/tagout procedures;
• Able to perform inspections/maintenance at varying heights up to 80 feet;

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:

• High School Diploma/GED and 1 year technical school, or 4 years on the job training in an industrial maintenance environment.
• Electrical and PLC experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.
