This role offers the opportunity to contribute to large-scale insurance technology transformation projects by ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of Guidewire implementations.
You will work across complex insurance platforms, validating configurations, integrations, workflows, and custom solutions before production deployment.

The Guidewire QA Analyst/Engineer will support quality assurance activities across insurance transformation initiatives by designing, executing, and improving testing processes. The role requires strong attention to detail, technical understanding, and the ability to collaborate effectively with delivery teams to ensure successful platform implementations.
- Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on business requirements and functional specifications.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing across Guidewire platforms such as PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, and BillingCenter.
- Validate Guidewire configurations, workflows, product models, integrations, and customizations against defined acceptance criteria.
- Collaborate with business analysts and developers to ensure requirements are testable and defects are clearly documented.
- Identify, log, track, and communicate defects throughout the full defect lifecycle using tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Support user acceptance testing by preparing test environments, coordinating business validation, and facilitating sign-off activities.
- Validate data integrity, system integrations, APIs, and workflows across Guidewire and connected third-party systems.
- Contribute to test automation initiatives by developing or maintaining automated test scripts where applicable.
- Assess quality risks, communicate potential issues proactively, and support continuous improvement of QA processes and standards.
- Contribute to the creation of testing best practices, templates, and documentation for Guidewire delivery projects.
The ideal candidate has professional experience in quality assurance or software testing, with hands-on exposure to Guidewire environments and complex enterprise applications. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities are essential for success in this role.
- 3+ years of experience in quality assurance, software testing, or a related professional delivery environment.
- Hands-on testing experience with at least one Guidewire product, including PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, or BillingCenter.
- Experience designing and executing test cases based on business requirements and functional specifications.
- Ability to test across multiple layers including UI, APIs, integrations, and data within complex systems.
- Experience using defect tracking and project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or equivalent platforms.
- Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall testing methodologies.
- Strong analytical thinking with the ability to identify issues, evaluate business impact, and communicate findings clearly.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for collaboration with technical and business stakeholders.
- Experience with Guidewire Cloud Platform (GWCP) testing and release validation is a plus.
- Guidewire certifications at Associate or Professional level are highly valued.
- Experience testing multiple Guidewire products across PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, and BillingCenter is preferred.
- Familiarity with Guidewire integrations, third-party systems, REST/SOAP APIs, and data validation processes is advantageous.
- Exposure to automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Postman, RestAssured, or similar frameworks is a plus.
- Knowledge of API testing, ETL/data migration testing, performance testing tools, or insurance technology environments is beneficial.
- ISTQB certification or equivalent QA credentials are preferred.
