As a Property Manager, you'll oversee the day-to-day operations of a residential community while creating a positive living experience for residents and ensuring the property operates efficiently. From leasing and resident relations to budgets and vendor coordination, you'll be at the center of it all.

La Causa Development, a wholly owned for-profit subsidiary of Chicanos Por La Causa (CPLC), provides full-service real estate development expertise from concept to completion. Along with our subsidiaries Tiempo Inc., La Causa Construction, LLC, and La Causa Realty, LLC, we develop, construct, manage, and sell a diverse portfolio of retail, medical, mixed-use, multifamily, and single-family residential communities.

HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT IN THIS ROLE?

As a Property Manager, you will work closely with the Regional Manager to oversee the daily operations of a residential community while ensuring excellent service for residents and strong property performance. You will manage leasing activities, cultivate positive tenant relationships, coordinate vendor services, oversee building operations, and assist with financial management, budgeting, and capital replacement planning. Your leadership will help maintain a safe, welcoming, and well-managed community while supporting organizational goals and operational excellence.

You thrive in a fast-paced environment, communicate effectively with residents and vendors, and know how to prioritize competing responsibilities. You're organized, dependable, and take pride in maintaining a property that residents are proud to call home.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES
  1. Education /Background:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); work experience in lieu of education
  • Prior property manager experience or assistant manager experience
