This remote consulting role is designed for an experienced Workday Financials professional specializing in Grants Management and Contract to Cash implementations. You will support organizations in transforming their financial processes through successful Workday deployments, from initial discovery and configuration through go-live and adoption. The position offers the opportunity to work on complex enterprise projects while collaborating with clients and technical teams. You will provide functional expertise, guide best practices, and help deliver scalable Workday solutions. • Lead Workday Financials implementations with a focus on Contract to Cash (C2C) and Grants Management solutions from design through deployment.
• Gather, analyze, and document client business requirements to design effective Workday configurations.
• Configure Workday solutions, develop prototypes, support testing activities, and facilitate knowledge transfer to clients.
• Conduct discovery sessions and Financial Data Model (FDM) discussions, providing guidance on best practices for organizational structures and chart of accounts setup.
• Support data conversion activities by collaborating with client teams to securely migrate legacy information into Workday.
• Ensure functional solutions align with downstream reporting, data extraction, and integration requirements.
• Assist integration teams by advising on functional business processes, objects, dependencies, and testing scenarios.
• Promote client adoption of Workday best practices through training, guidance, and effective communication.
• Provide project updates, identify risks, and contribute recommendations to improve project delivery and client outcomes.
• Mentor and support other consultants by sharing Workday expertise, product knowledge, and implementation best practices.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and help develop innovative approaches for efficient Workday deployments.

• Current Workday certifications in Contract to Cash and Grants Management.
• 4+ years of experience implementing Workday Grants Management solutions.
• Strong background in Workday Financials and enterprise application implementations.
• CPA qualification, advanced Accounting degree, or equivalent professional experience.
• Previous consulting experience within a software or technology consulting environment.
• Experience deploying enterprise applications such as Workday, SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, ADP, or similar platforms.
• Demonstrated experience managing projects, timelines, and delivery objectives.
• Strong business analysis skills with experience gathering and translating requirements into solutions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong customer service mindset.
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies through training and independent learning.
• Experience managing multiple Financial projects simultaneously is an advantage.
• Ability and willingness to travel approximately 30% depending on project requirements.
