Role OverviewWe are expanding our team and hiring for multiple Intelligent Automation Developers. We welcome candidates with deep expertise in either Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) as we build out a balanced team across both ecosystems.
As a consultant, you will independently lead client-facing initiatives, serving as a trusted technical advisor during project discovery and design sessions. You will bring a strong consultant presence, bridging the gap between technical execution and business strategy by translating complex AI/cloud concepts into clear, value-driven conversations for business stakeholders.
Your responsibilities will include designing and building cloud solutions leveraging the latest AI and ML capabilities available from major cloud providers. You will collaborate with engineers to efficiently implement algorithms within existing production processes, assist in establishing design and coding standards, testing pipelines, policies, and procedures across development efforts, and provide recommendations on improving team efficiency from a code reusability standpoint.
What You Will DoParticipate in design sessions with external clients and project leads to provide technical direction on design considerations for development, performance, scalability, availability, maintainability, and reusability.Consult & Engage: Engage directly with external clients, holding confident, business-focused discussions to understand their needs and articulate the strategic and functional value of proposed automation and AI solutions.Translate Technical Complexity: Explain technical architectures, trade-offs, and LLM implementation details in clear, accessible terms for non-technical and business stakeholders.Leverage numerical methods and testing algorithms for evaluating LLM performance for different use cases.Collaborate with engineers to implement algorithms efficiently within existing production processes.Assist with design and coding standards, testing pipelines, policies, and procedures across development efforts.What You Will BringBaseline RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or an engineering discipline.Proven experience implementing LLM capabilities into cloud solutions.Experience with CI/CD pipelines and repository management using Azure DevOps.Interest in the intelligent automation market and cloud infrastructure technologies.Option A: Azure Track2 to 4 years of .NET / C# development experience.Cloud Platform: Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.Preferred Experience"LLM evaluation frameworks (e.g., Azure AI Foundry evaluation, Ragas).RAG pipelines using Azure AI Search or vector databases.Intelligent Document Processing using Azure AI Document Intelligence or other OCR tools.Low-code automation using Power Platform.Option B: GCP Track2 to 4 years of Python development experience.Cloud Platform: Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).Specialized AI Experience: Experience with Gemini models via Vertex AI and agentic AI solutions (Google Agent Development Kit / ADK).Architecture: Designing and deploying serverless architectures on GCP (Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub).Preferred Experience:LLM evaluation frameworks (e.g., Vertex AI Evaluation, Ragas).RAG pipelines using Vertex AI Search or vector databases.Intelligent Document Processing using Google Document AI or other OCR tools.Low-code and analytics tools (Google AppSheet, BigQuery).Preferred ExperienceFamiliarity with agent interoperability protocols (MCP, Agent2Agent/A2A).Experience in statistics or numerical methods.Core CompetenciesConsultant Presence & Client Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust with external client teams, navigate client dynamics, and confidently lead conversations.Business Acumen: Ability to speak to the "business side of things," connecting technical execution to business outcomes, ROI, and process efficiency.Lifelong Learner Mindset: Eager to stay on top of emerging cloud and AI technologies.Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Autonomy & Leadership: Ability to work independently with minimal oversight while providing recommendations for operational efficiency.Why Ashling PartnersAt Ashling Partners, we strive to provide meaningful work in a positive, appreciative and fun culture for our own team. The pay range for this role is:80,000 - 100,000 CAD per year(Toronto Office)
