Exciting news—we are opening brand-new South Denton location in August! Following the success of our Lantana store, we are expanding fast and looking for a driven, customer-focused Front Desk / Membership Sales Associate to join our growing team.

About the Role
As a Membership Sales Associate, you are the face of Scenthound and the first point of contact for our dog parents. You’ll build strong relationships, educate owners on the benefits of routine wellness care, and drive membership sales.

What You’ll Do- Drive Sales: Educate customers on routine wellness care and sell Scenthound memberships.
- Customer Experience: Build genuine, lasting relationships with dog parents and deliver exceptional service.
- Schedule Visits: Promote and book first-time visits to introduce new dogs and owners to our services.
- Maintain the Space: Keep a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk environment.
- Prioritize Safety: Ensure dog safety protocols are strictly followed to provide a stress-free experience for every pup.
- Sales Mindset: Driven, comfortable presenting offers, and eager to help customers make informed wellness decisions.
- Proactive & Coachable: Quick learner with a desire to grow in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong Communicator: Outgoing, friendly, and great at building rapport.
- Dog Lover: Passionate about dog wellness, health, and safety.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish): A major plus! (Not required, but highly preferred).
- Experience: Background in retail, hospitality, or membership-based sales is a plus.

Requirements: Job Requirements and QualificationsBasic Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: 1+ years in retail, sales, hospitality, or customer service (membership-based sales background is a strong plus).
- Language: English fluency required; Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) are highly preferred.
- Availability: Must have reliable transportation and flexible availability, including weekends and morning/evening shifts as needed for store operations.
Key Competencies & Skills:
- Sales Aptitude: Comfortable meeting and exceeding sales goals, presenting membership options, and handling objections with a friendly, consultative approach.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a natural ability to build rapport with dog parents quickly.
- Customer-Centric: Passionate about providing top-tier service and maintaining a welcoming, professional front desk area.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using point-of-sale (POS) systems, scheduling software, and standard front-office software.
- Composure & Safety Focus: Able to multi-task in a high-energy environment while maintaining strict adherence to safety and stress-free pet care protocols.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, and move around the front desk and lobby area for extended periods during shifts.
- Must be comfortable being around dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 30–40 lbs (e.g., helping guide a dog or handling retail inventory).
