Job Description
Job Title: Administrative Assistant - Full Time (non-union)
Department: Administration
Position Purpose: Reporting to the Executive Director, the Administrative Assistant will perform a variety of clerical and administrative tasks to help facilitate the efficient operation of the Burlington County Bridge Commission.
Full-Time: Monday - Friday 8:30 am to 4:30 pm
Wage: $21.64 per hour
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Atthe direction of the Executive Director, retrieves information as requestedfrom records, emails, minutes, or other related documents; prepares writtensummaries of data when needed.
- Respondsto and resolves administrative inquiries and questions.
- Maintainsoffice supplies and coordinates maintenance of office equipment.
- Whennecessary, must be able to become a backup cashier for both the Palmyra andBurlington administration locations.
- Provideadministrative support and effectively communicate with all Commissiondepartments, including Maintenance, I.T., Operations, Administration, andPolice.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Abilityto perform in an office environment, sit at a desk for prolonged periods, andwork on a computer.
- Abilityto lift at least 10 pounds.
- Ifrequired, must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High school graduate or GED equivalent.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
