Accountabilities:

As a Data Science Specialist, you will be responsible for developing analytical solutions, structuring data, and creating innovative features that enhance decision-making processes. You will work with large datasets, statistical techniques, and machine learning approaches to identify opportunities and deliver impactful insights.

  • Research and evaluate new data sources to improve analytical capabilities and generate new business opportunities.
  • Structure, organize, and prepare databases for modeling and advanced analytics initiatives.
  • Develop new variables through feature learning techniques to improve predictive models and scoring solutions.
  • Analyze the performance and relevance of features used in statistical models.
  • Create innovative analytical solutions using statistical methods and data science techniques across multiple industries.
  • Apply knowledge of credit, collections, insurance, and financial services to support the creation of relevant analytical products.
  • Develop and optimize data processing workflows using big data technologies.
  • Collaborate with teams to identify challenges, propose improvements, and deliver scalable data-driven solutions.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate is a highly analytical professional with strong experience in data manipulation, statistical modeling, and programming. You should have a passion for learning, problem-solving, and applying technology to transform data into actionable insights.

  • Bachelor’s degree completed in Exact Sciences, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related fields.
  • Strong programming skills in Python for data analysis and modeling.
  • Experience with statistical modeling, data manipulation, and feature engineering.
  • Knowledge of Big Data concepts and technologies, including PySpark.
  • Experience developing analytical solutions and working with large-scale datasets.
  • Familiarity with machine learning concepts and model evaluation techniques.
  • Knowledge of the corporate credit ecosystem (PJ), including products such as working capital loans, receivables anticipation, invoice discounting, and business financing.
  • Understanding of company financial indicators, corporate structures, and tax frameworks is considered a strong advantage.
  • Strong analytical thinking, adaptability, initiative, curiosity, and ability to work independently.
  • Ability to collaborate with different teams and communicate technical concepts clearly.
