Vanguard Resources, Inc. (VRI) is seeking a dependable, experienced Office Cleaner / Day Porter to provide occasional staffing coverage at VRI's client's facility - American Heart Association's corporate campus in Dallas. This opportunity is ideal for someone with commercial cleaning, corporate housekeeping, or custodial experience who enjoys working independently and is interested in earning supplemental / extra income. Important: This is a PRN (as-needed) position, not a regularly scheduled part-time job. Shifts are offered based on staffing needs and may vary in start time and duration. Coverage could involve a few daytime hours, or a full shift. Hours are not guaranteed, and you may not be scheduled every week. You may be called at a moments notice!

What You'll Do

• Clean and maintain offices, restrooms, breakrooms, and common areas.
• Perform routine porter duties to maintain a clean, professional environment.
• Empty trash, replenish supplies, and respond to cleaning needs.
• Follow established cleaning procedures and safety standards.
• Work independently to complete assigned responsibilities.
• What We're Looking For
• Previous commercial cleaning, corporate housekeeping, or custodial experience preferred.
• Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
• Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.
• Flexible weekday availability for shifts of varying lengths.
• Willingness to provide occasional evening coverage when available.
• Ability to accept occasional shifts, sometimes with short notice.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds as needed.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach throughout assigned shifts.
• Ability to push or pull cleaning carts and equipment.
