Warehouse Lead in Snoqualmie, Washington at Snoqualmie Casino & Hotel

Pay Rate: $25.56/hr.

Shift: TBD. Weekends are required.

PURPOSE

Assist the warehouse management team by providing line supervision of the Warehouse Receivers. Performs duties of the Warehouse Supervisor in their absence.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

• Cross train and fill in as needed in all purchasing and warehouse functions.
• Resolve customer service issues and complaints, identifying root cause and ensuring appropriate actions are taken.
• Provide daily hands-on support for the department.
• Ensure the daily UPS/FEDEX deliveries are completed and delivered to the appropriate outlets in a timely fashion.
• Assist Warehouse Supervisor with inventory control, audits and counts.
• Drive compliance with safety, quality and productivity goals in support of warehouse leadership team objectives
• Assist Warehouse Supervisor in the supervision and assignment of shift personnel to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
• Maintain a clean and efficient warehouse.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma / GED; Recognized Equivalent of a High School Diploma (RED) or Foreign High School Diploma (FHD).
• Six (6) months minimum warehouse experience.
• Must obtain and hold Forklift and Electric Pallet Jack certifications.
• Any combination of education and experience that clearly demonstrates the ability to perform the job duties of the position.
• Six (6) months of supervisory or lead experience preferred.

Skills and Abilities:

• Proven excellent organizational skills, as well as oral and written communication skills.
• Proven computer skills, and complete knowledge of the use of Microsoft applications (Windows, Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Proven receiving, prioritizing and planning skills.
• Knowledge of shipping and receiving methods and procedures.
• Computer experience or knowledge of Purchasing System.
