Position Overview

The Janitorial Team Member is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of assigned areas. This position performs routine cleaning tasks, follows safety procedures, and helps create a clean and welcoming environment for everyone who uses the facility.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do:

• Clean and maintain assigned areas, including offices, restrooms, breakrooms, hallways, and other common spaces.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors.
• Empty trash and replace liners.
• Clean and disinfect surfaces, fixtures, and frequently touched areas.
• Restock restroom and other supplies as needed.
• Use cleaning equipment and products safely and according to instructions.
• Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or supply needs to a supervisor.
• Follow site-specific cleaning procedures and schedules.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For:

• Current incumbent employee working at this location.
• Previous janitorial or cleaning experience is helpful.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean environment.
• Ability to communicate with supervisors and team members.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to complete a background check as part of the hiring process.

Physical Requirements:

This position may require standing and walking for extended periods; bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling; and lifting or moving cleaning supplies and equipment.
