Job Description

Senior Biologics Coordinator

AllerVie Health | Full-Time | [Remote] |

Keep patients on the therapy that changes their lives.

Biologics can transform life for patients with severe allergy, asthma, and immunology conditions, but only when they get the drug on time, with no gaps in coverage. As our Senior Biologics Coordinator, you’ll be the expert who makes that happen across multiple locations. You’ll lead a team of Biologics Coordinators and Assistants and work closely with prior authorization, revenue cycle, pharmacy partners, and clinical staff.

What You’ll Do

Manage biologics patients

  • Oversee patients on Xolair, Nucala, Fasenra, Tezspire, and Exdensur, etc. so no one falls through the cracks
  • Track specialty pharmacy patients from new start through time to therapy, and serve as the escalation point for pharmacy partners
  • Steward IVIG/SCIG patients through Lux Infusion and support long-term infusion clinic planning

Own authorizations and benefits

  • Manage prior authorization renewals to prevent gaps in therapy
  • Lead benefits investigations and review complex denials and appeals
  • Identify buy and bill opportunities at renewals and denials, and coordinate smooth transitions from specialty pharmacy to in-office administration

Partner on billing and reporting

  • Work with revenue cycle to monitor claims and resolve escalations
  • Prepare monthly reporting on new starts, active patients, and no-shows
  • Keep drug inventory and ordering aligned with scheduled patients

Lead the team

  • Be the go-to resource and first escalation point for Coordinators and Assistants
  • Train and onboard new team members, run chart audits, and present metrics at weekly team meetings
What You Bring

Required

  • Clinical or revenue cycle experience with medical prior authorizations
  • PACS certification or 2+ years of prior authorization experience
  • 2+ years in a biologics coordinator role or equivalent, with both buy and bill and specialty pharmacy experience

Preferred

  • Experience with IVIG/SCIG or infusion therapy management
  • Experience training or leading a team
  • Comfort analyzing data to drive decisions

You are

  • Highly organized, able to manage a multi-location patient population
  • A clear communicator and strong relationship builder
  • A problem-solver with great attention to detail and sound judgment
Why AllerVie
  • A mission you can feel: every patient you keep on therapy gets closer to relief
  • A senior seat with real impact: shape how biologics care is delivered and help build our infusion capabilities
  • Medical, dental & vision; employer HSA contribution; employer-paid life insurance
  • 401(k) with employer match; generous PTO and paid holidays
