Responsibilities:

• Supervise the Banquet team in all aspects of the department and ensure service standards are followed
• Check room set-up to see that Banquet Event Order directions are completely followed
• Act as point of contact for group representatives
• Assist Banquet Servers in all food and beverage items for assigned banquet meetings and events
• Address guest concerns and react quickly and professionally
• Oversee staff to ensure that proper liquor controls are in use
• Assist with training new team members
• Conduct daily pre-shift departmental meetings in the absence of Banquet Manager
• Have full knowledge of all menu items being served
• Assist with the set up and serving at events when needed
• Inspect banquet areas at end of function to ensure all equipment is returned to its proper area and all areas are clean
• Complete any tasks your supervisor/manager instructs you to complete

Schedule & Availability:

• Full-Time Position
• Open availability required, including evenings, weekends, and some holidays
• Event-driven schedule based on business needs

Compensation:

Starting wage is $ 16.50/hour plus gratuities

Required Education and Experience

• Previous waitress, waiter or banquet server experience required
• Previous Food & Beverage experience required
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
• Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
• Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm, courteous and responsive at all times
• Hotel Experience preferred
